Could someone hlep me out with something? My site SexRobot.com [/Link removed! -Staff™ B-) ]. (warning: adult) ranks in the #1 position in MSN for the search term "sex robot" however in google and Yahoo it does not even rank in the top 300. I've got a Google Sitemap and everything seems SE friendly.

The site has been running for just a few months. Could it be it just takes longer with Google and Yahoo?

Any ideas why so low on Yahoo and Google and not MSN?

If its a brand new site then it may be in sandbox stage.

What's a "sandbox" stage?

I have found that sometimes sites which rank well in msn, don't rank as well in google, it took my site 9 months to get any sort of ranking in google, and then lost 14000 pages after their last update :(

it is just normal...link popularity is the name of the game for google.

I do need to get incoming links to SexRobot.com. Problem is that most sites that might exchange links with me would be selling the same affiliates for the most part. Any ideas on getting inbound links for this type of site? Are there any submission services that are actaully worth the money that might get my site into various directories?

try the adult section. I see some members trading links to related sites..

I just checked my Google StieMap statistics and it says it has no problem crawling, no errors and that I submitted it on Mar 10 and it was last crawled on May 17 and "last downloaded" 12 hours ago, and Sitemap status=ok. It says I have a "low" PageRank, but not "no" page rank. but then is also says this:

"No pages from your site are currently included in Google's index. Indexing can take time. You may find it helpful to review our information for webmasters and webmaster guidelines. [?]"

Could it be that it just takes many months to index some pages??? If it wan't ever going to index them, would it tell me here?

If there are no links pointing to your site then yes, it could take months for google to find your site.

pr is not important for indexing your site as long as the page is indexed where your link is added then your problem might be solved on the next couple of weeks.

pr certainly does have an effect on indexing.
