Well, I just learned something very interesting, while diagnosing a Google listing problem with my site: SexRobot.com. [/Adult link removed! -Staff™ B-) ]. I was trying to figure out why my pages (except one of them) were not getting indexed on Google, even though I had a valid sitemap. So, I posted a question to the Google Sitemap Group. Read the thread here .

Apparently, if some people link to you with the "www" and some without it, you could be penalized for "duplicate content." I made the change to the htaccess file that the person in the thread suggested. I'll see what happens.

BTW, here is an article on the Duplicate Content Filter.

That's interesting that it's not talked about more, or automatically placed in some htaccess files.
