Hey folks. I'm looking into selling a script i've made and i'm a little concerned about the legal side of things.

Basically I need to know what kind of legal documents I need...and where should I include them? In a text file alongside the script files? Or on the site I sell the script from?

Is there some sort of prewritten "standard" set of license rules I can get somewhere? I just dont want to risk writing my own and having them open to interpretation...

I need something that covers these things at least:
- Not allowed to redistribute the script
- No resell rights
- I'm not responsible to replace lost files, or ones they've edited and no longer work
- Allowed to manipulate the script however they want (but still cant resell the edited version if that's possible)

If there are any experienced solicitors or script sellers around that are willing to help me out, i'd really appreciate it!

The kind of legal fine prints you'll need will depend on your area's laws (England
in your case). But at the very least, you'll need a terms of service.

You might also be required to put in some kind of privacy policy, and a couple
of disclaimers. Only way to know is to check your local lawyer/barrister.

Of course, those fine prints ain't gonna stop those in other countries like Iraq
from doing things to your script.
