Need a Spanish speaker to call Bolivian registry.

I am in a dilemma. I need to transfer a domain, they do it via email/phone. But I do not speak Spanish and I can't really communicate with them, I called them earlier.

If you live in the USA and speak Spanish please help me out. I am willing to pay anyone $20 for this. I even have a calling card here so that you won't be billed for calling Bolivia.

Just in case you don't get any takers there is always www.freetranslation.com just enter the english and tell it you want spanish. It does a decent job. Usually good enough for the Spanish speaker to get the meaning. Anyways good luck.

Just out of interest: how do they transfer by phone without risking fakers stealing domains that way? How can one control identity 100% secure over the phone?!


Good luck with it. I don't speak Spanish, but in the US it shouldn't be a problem finding one that speaks it.

Yeah I found somebody, he is going to try and do it today, and if they are not in office then he will try tomorrow.

I think they'll send a confirmation email if anything to protect against theft.

nic.bo reported they are having technical problems with the registry for the new .bo extension and it will be sorted out shortly.
