hi there

i just received an email from a broker... he works at a known hoster and for vip clients they do domain brokering. his client (in uk) is interested in a domain that i own... and i should make a price offer...???

well... i know. it is time to deal... but can i just write "what is it worth for you?" maybe he is willing to pay 30usd... maybe 3000usd... what would be your tactic?

If you want a reply regarding the price, try putting your domain in the appraisal section
If you know what amount you want to sell it for, then go for that
Since you have been contacted by a broker , I am pretty sure the other party would be willing to shell out a decent amount,
Try asking for xxx at least,but you should for xxxx or xxxxx and then say , I am open to offers and willing to talk about the price,
Or if you want it your way ,then you can go for
"Although I have a price in mind but why don't you make an offer" ,personally the first option works for me
The first counter offer you receive will be low but if they are really interested, if you don't budge too low, they will probably end up quoting a decent offer,

Hello, might be just a coincidence, but i got this same email from this guy, same story, a hoster in UK, represents some big shot investors, bla, bla, bla.
Just answer anything and wait for his answer, just write something like "what´s your budget?".
99% sure you will receive an email asking you to do an official appraisal for your domain at a specific site. Just the same old SCAM. Unfortunately.
