I just bought and closed escrow today on Moscow.tv which as many of you know is the most expensive city in the world, one of the biggest cities in the world, has the most billionaires in the world, a big tourism hub as well, and offers everything you can ask for in a top 10 worldwide city GEO.

I paid $7,000 for the name with a $500 renewal which I consider a great deal for a top 10 worldwide Geo city. Also, the seller made a good ROI as well on the sale which is important.

I will send the info over to DNJournal.com to Ron Jackson so this hit's the news in the sales next week.

With the tv station out of moscow buying John's name for $62,500 I saw this as the right time to buy Moscow.tv.

I will be meeting with Geo Developers in my home town of San Diego at the Geo domain conference in April regarding developing Europe.tv, Spain,tv and Moscow.tv. I will keep you posted on things.

Thanks, Jim

Jim

Excellent deal. Looks like you're another oligarch these days.

You may have to come live in Europe at this rate!

He may have but he sold himself far short.

Everyday I hear more and more about the strain in the world economy. There's a lot of scared money out there now. Maybe that had something to do with them letting go.

There's some names I've been thinking about buying but after seeing prices like this and what you got those states for and what malmo hit in auction i'm begining to think I need to look around for the deals more.

I tend to agree with that view.
There is some bargains to be had when owners are either overly worried by all the horrible headlines about the global economy or with times being tough they are cashing in on any decent ROI.

It's a buyers market. The seller invested $3,500 over 7 years at $500 per year and sold for $7,000. So he doubled his money and made $3,500. Compared to almost every other investment he made money and not lost money. I lost about 70% in the stock market over that time frame so I guess it's all relative.

With that being said, people sell for different reasons, and I have only sold 2 .tv names in the last year but had offers on about 20 of them and about 5 really good offers. However, I feel .tv has barely scratched the surface and if you can hold out on selling than the rewards will really come in 2-3 years I believe.

Thanks, Jim

congrats jim and with your recent purchases, state names, you know how to find the best deal on the map.

this will be in huge demand in years to come and moscow.. what a buy and killer city name.

congrats jim and go out to the club tonight, charge up the bar bill and if your wife says why 2 times for this week tell this: 1. rt.tv sale, 2. jeff told me too and go out and do a big bar tab night..

in all reality jim, this has to be your best buy of all time...sure when you got those 2 geo names first, the big names and got a deal then things started rolling in more on more names and all top notch names. this is by far the best name, cheapest purchase price of 09 imo so far and best of all your locked in at 500 a year. sure the spain and europe blew everyone away on that news but moscow and how cheap it is to maintain.

congrats jim, call your limo to pick you up, grab a few friends and go hit the bar. enjoy the vodka and the time is calling you to go out in style on this buy. i approve of this, lol! just tell your wife this is the moscow.tv buy of the century and jeff approves of this. cheers and best of luck!
