Hey nP members,

because of some reasons I want to ask you all the following:

If you would sell one of your domains for for more than 1,000,000,000.00 USD (one billion USD) - what would you do then with all the money?

Admittedly, the chances for a sale like this are very low of course - but this circumstance shouldn't be a reason to don't ask this exciting question.

That means, my question is really serious - so please stay on topic and answer it serious - thanx in advance.
I (and I think not only I) am really curious how your answer/s will be.
At the end we all can learn from other's answers.

And maybe someday one of us will have a sale like this.
I never say never.

So, again the question:

What would you do with more than 1,000,000,000.00 USD (one billion USD) if you would sell one of your domains for this ammount of money?

Tell us your inspiring answer/s here!

All the best with your invest,
kingof.top

This domain probably costs a bit or probably much more but regardless of that, I have to admit that it sounds like a well considered and great decision.
Who knows??? Maybe we will make a big deal someday!!!

Let's see what others will do with 1,000,000,000.00 USD if they sell one of their domains for that unbelievable sum.

Lol.. .. I would keep probably about 50 million for myself

Then give the rest away discreetly and anonymously to :

Start up ventures (with a selection process - companies/start ups that operate with a passion to make the world a better place)

Various charities

Random acts of kindness

And last but not least...will dish out lots of $$$$$ here to the NP community, will have silly competitions and challenges...with massive prize money. lol

I would use it to have stupid questions - not related to domaining removed from the forum.

I would acquire dropcatch, catch all the good names, let them drop and catch em again, just to mess with some of you

That's exactly what I would do IF it ever happens. Will save couple of millions for myself and invest the bigger part of it in startups and own business endeavors.

Interesting but also 'weird' answer because you don't need 1,000,000,000.00 USD for that ;)

And, if your statement refers to this threads question, then I remember you that it's indeed part of domaining to think about what to do with a possible profit.

@kingof.top Are your reasons that you anticipate to sell your toptoptop...top for $1 billion (give or take) ? :)

Who knows. Maybe you can invest all the money for that and maybe someone will invent a time travel machine. Lol

I would start buying "63" names from people (so they show on namebio), register new ones, increase selling prices, create impression that we will have a 63 "buyout" and see if some people actually believe that. And what they'll do.
kingof.top would get a heart attack from shock! :P

Seeing as personalized gTLD's are all the rage now, I would consider creating a registry for 1 character extensions:
.o
.x
.k

etc
to make kick-ass ulra-short names like g.o, x.x, o.k etc

There would be none of this bs premium pricing, it would be first come first serve no matter what. You're an enduser late to the game? Too bad. Your a TM holder and the domain has a letter that's part of your name? Too bad. Pre-orders? Sunrise? No way, Jose. General Availability only.

Every man for himself, consistent pricing, and human hand-reg verification is what the registry would be. Each and every time.

Open the flood gates.
