I read somewhere that Monte was leaving Moniker. I don't know the details, but if the deterioration of their website and services is anything to go by, then I'm not surprised. About 25% of the time I can't login to my account and need to ask for support. Luckily I don't have many domains there now.

They were taken over by Oversee.net and are linked to Snapnames. The new website looks nice but it seems the system behind it still has not changed and you need to double check that things get done after you click the submit button, that is a fact of life.

Prices good, software not 100%, ease of use maybe 5/10 - Dynadot are much easier to use, Godaddy are more difficult.

TOS better than most, in theory a safer place to keep a name than other US registrars.
