.mobi Mixing w/ the Premium Auction

Is anyone planning on riding on the excitiment of the premium auction and putting some of their holdings on the block at the same time?

I guess it could go either way: more eyes eyeing .mobis, but more .mobis to spread the $$ around on.

I am real curious about the prices, and look forward to the article in DNJournal and such...assuming they will touch on the event.

I definitely wouldn't recommend putting names with no reserve on auction due to the sheer amount of names for sale.. It will definitely be the "more money spread around option". DN Journal will be littered with the results, no doubt. I think we'll see our first "Top 40" chart thanks to .mobi come October 9th/17th. I'm fairly confident .mobi will hold as many places on that list as .com, but either way, .net, .info, and .org shall be put to shame! :wave:

That's the key :tu: And as long as you have a reserve, there's no worries about whether the extra money gets spread in your direction or not (should you choose to put a name up for auction).

Domains are a business that I think highly of. It a great investment while reserve the domain for own usage if time is ripe.

During the duration of reg .mobi, I also obtained the .com that I desire for.

They should have stuck to their guns on the RFP process, IMHO ... with that being said, I'm looking forward to some bona-fide End user participation and unique & compelling mobile developments here from the Sedo and Traffic auctions, IMHO. :gl:

Premium .mobi price will not below XXXX for sure. It just opinions from individual at Namepros.

I make investment as I trust the media and expert from asia in analysis the value of .mobi in the future.

Have faith in your .mobi investment, it will be your personal property that you can be proud of.

I dont see much math involved in your prediction of low prices.

Mine? the lower X,XXX for most. Average price higher than the median...that is, they'll be a gap with some outliers at the top.

But seriously, if at some point kicking your intellectual opponent seems too easy, then perhaps that's a sign that it's time to stop, take a step back and take the opportunity to check if you are not getting carried away!

PS: If the above doesn't convince you, just ask yourselves how would you feel in a couple of weeks if Jeff turns out to be right about the supply and demand imbalance?

Im yet to see any real .mobi sales that make me take a step back and go "wow". There have 2 or 3 other auctions where .mobi under performed against expectation, what makes you guys think this auction is going to be any different?

I think the averageprice on all 100 domians will be $10,000 My figure is, if 1 or more person(s) invested a total of 1,000,000 for all 100 domains that would be an average of $10,000 per domain...

As far as listing during this auction my activate.mobi ends a day into the auction which I think can be a double edged sword it will have a lot of looks, but will be overshadowed by some other killer names. I'm hoping to get some nice bids in the last 24 hours however. Fingers crossed.
