Hello Domainers,

I do a market study for a new service monetization of domain names.

What do you think of income per 1000 visitors instead of a pay per click? The gain for 1000 unique visitors would be $12 to $30.

What do you think of a payment every week?

Thank you for your opinion.

I personally like CPM , $12 PER 1k isn't bad, $15 is enticing.

It's an interesting concept to pay per 1,000 visitors (set rate) rather than per action (what ever the action may be: click, subscribe, buy, etc.). However, I think it leaves the paying company way to open for low quality traffic manipulation tactics.

Unless of course you had a valuing system to gauge traffic quality in place you didn't mention yet. If so, what would that system be and how would it accurately monitor and sort the traffic? Or would this just be a decorated generalized bulk traffic blast system with a different name?

If you paid $12 to $30 per thousand I would use it for some of my names. But if the payout was $2 or less per thousand like most pop-up and pop-unders ads pay I would not.

It would also depend on how you count traffic. I would want credit every time a page is displayed, even if it is displayed to the same visitor. And could you send traffic to a website or must it be natural traffic.

Paying weekly is a good option that people would like.

Thank you for your comments.

Here are some more explanations:
We do not use the traditional suppliers of feed advertising as "Google" or "Yahoo / Bing".
The fixed rate payment per thousand is defined by the origin of the traffic and the quality of keywords / category of the domain name. For example: If category "Bank" and 25% of U.S. traffic = 20 $/1000 visitors. 95% of good countries (U.S., CA, EU) = 30-35 $/1000 visitors.
We count every page displayed, but with a limitation of three same IP per day per domain.
Each domain will have its landing page. With a mixture of advertising and resulting output of web search engine.
Each domain can set a link sales, with information on visit statistics.

Thank you for giving me your opinion.

There's a service already. It pays about $5/1,000 impressions.

I can't remember what the name is. Basically user will wait 5 seconds before being transfer to the content they want (while advertising is displayed). Its a redirection that acts as if its only on top of the page and can be "closed" with an X button.

It pays $5/1000 impressions.

Anyone remember that service? I forget!

I found 1, its no_url_shorteners
They give $1/1,000

I remember another company but can't remember the name.

...
These ideas have been at work! They do work, as sites do pay to advertise.

You can actually take over this market if you pay high enough.
I heard that its very popular for sites that get alot of hits.

Pay per impression (banner) is very popular as it doesn't redirect away from content!

Maybe something different?

Yes it is a parking service company.
The difference is that with ad.fly our system you do not need web hosting. And you have a guaranteed income for a thousand visits.

Another question: with your current provider, how is your average RPM (revenue per thousand)?

Again thank you!
