This is interesting – one of the world’s great domainers – Sahar Sarid – posted yesterday in his always interesting & insightful blog (www.conceptualist.com). He discusses TV advertising, domains and the usefulness of .TV

I agree with his thoughts (wouldn’t I just), but more importantly the end-user marketplace is moving in this direction as well. .TV as a complement domain for TV advertising. One immediate example that comes to mind is Bose Speakers using www.QuietComfort.tv to track response from its TV advertsing campaigns. And many other brands using .tv as a complement to their .com corporate sites for various advertising or educational purposes.
Of course, this isn’t the only way to utilize .TV but its certainly a powerful one IMO, and one that the wider market users can easily grasp. More good things to come for .TV
Happy Holidays, CarryOn
