We've talked recently about the fact that it makes a lot of sense for artists, musicians, bands, singers, etc. to choose .tv domains for their official websites, as music and video have been part of the same world for a long time and many artists and production companies are taking advantage of the power of the Internet to get a wider audience and more interactivity with their fans.
I'd like to tell you today about RHN.TV, the official site of the "Real Hip-Hop Network".
It's a huge project launched from Washington DC with the goal of becoming "the television destination for a growing multiracial hiphop generation", "a new worldwide media platform to present its international influence with a responsible voice".
Basically, what they're trying to build is the first 24-hour premium TV network dedicated exclusively to hip-hop. Lots of production companies are getting interested by this project, major media are talking about it (they were on the cover of Billboard, on CNN, etc.)...
Whether you like hip-hop or not, it's really interesting to see that it's yet another huge project in the world of entertainment which is being built on a .tv domain. And it means more and more new businesses/people getting aware and involved in .tv... More and more fans who will be using .tv on a regular basis...
