The minimum commission for co.uk sales has now been permanently reduced to $50/ €50 / £35 - down from $100/ €70/ £70. Especially important for co.uk sales under $500 / €500 / £350, this new reduction is a decrease of 50% from the past minimum fee.

This comes at a time when the U.K. Secondary Domain Name market sees a growth of more than 150% in the last year alone. We hope that our price cut will pave the way for increased development of the UK market and will especially help to foster a greater volume of sales in the under $500 / €500 / £350 category.

For an anaylsis of the UK domain market check out Sedo's annual review at:

Enjoy the new lower co.uk commission and happy bidding!

Best,
Mara

That's great news Mara!

Question:

I have not been paid yet for a recent .co.uk sale of mine and the transfer is still in progress (which seems like an eternity :) ) would this mean the commission to be collected by Sedo is now lower?
Or is the commission of £70 going to be put in place?

Another question i wanted to ask,

Is there a possibility that Sedo can create a solution to make the transfer process much quicker?
