The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. A very nice $85,000 .com sale at Sedo heads our new Top 20 chart which also features a pair of strong .co.uk sales and one from Austria's .at extension. It was an especially good week for the country codes with eight of this week's sales high enough to rank among the Year to Date leaders in that category. In addition to the usual standouts like Great Britain's .co.uk and Germany's de, we saw high prices paid for extensions that rarely produce notable sales, including such obscure ccTLDs as .io, .to, .tl and .nu.
The Global Contenders (.net, ,org, .info and .biz) didn't post many high $ sales (only one ranks among the year's Top 50 G.C. sales) but the category still racked up 40 four-figure sales which is a sign of very good health. .Com had a great outing, taking 17 of 20 positions on the Big Board.
