Hey y'all! Been lurking a bit but finally made an account. I'm working on a new domain marketplace and wanted to say hey.
By way of some self-promotion we're trying to build a low fee exchange (2.5% flat fee). We use some novel cryptographic techniques to create proofs of domain ownership and transfer (starting with Namecheap domains). These proofs are used to unlock escrowed funds on a blockchain so to some extent the marketplace just "drives itself" (which allows us to offer low fees). We've done similar stuff before with proving Venmo transfers to exchange Venmo dollars for crypto (zkp2p.xyz).
Would love to talk with the community and see how we can more tailor what we're building to your needs! Big believers that the buyers and sellers of domains are doing the work of taking the risk and they shouldn't have to pay such huge fees to execute swaps.
