So do you think the recent explosion in LLL.us will have any follow on impact on LLL.net?

No.

I suspect there will be, over time, a narrowing of the gap between the other top domains (outside .com) and .net. In a steeply ascending market this will not be so obvious but I would not be surprised to find in 5 years a rough parity between .info, .eu, .us and .net. I would rank them in that order in five years, IMO.

now only you know the answer for that question that should reflect where a domainer will put the money right or no
