This domaining sector offers potentially larger returns than traditional revenue or traffic based domain names, however with this investment opportunity comes extravagant risk.

Wordtracker/day 8

An MSSP (managed security service provider) is an Internet service provider (ISP) that provides an organization with overall system management.

Should do well for parking (I hope) and for an investment :).

all these crappy VCVC and CVCV in net are nothing in comparison with premium CVCVC and even CVCVCV in com. The main idea of LLLL.net - cheap alternative for different organizations, associations, federations, hobby sites and companies and all they need are acronyms. If CVCV or VCVC are premium this is great. Otherwise I would prefer strong premium LLLL.net

I think they both are worthy of investing in, but for personal preference, I have my own favorite of the two kinds.

yeah, but every one define crappy different, and its interesting how acronyms defined by domainers differ from that 'end user' company acronym

But the fact is that:
so-call'ed all-premium VCVC (that means "U" not counted) are all long gone.

so it sounds logical to me.

correct me if I am wrong.

When talking VCVC, the letter "u" holds just as strong in sales as anything else that's pronounceable. I think the jury is still out on that one, and time will be the judge of these opinions.

Ok, y'all got me to jump off the cliff. Question is will my wings unfold and I ride the air currents gracefully or simply land with a gigantic splat on the valley floor.

It sounds like your a gambling man, so whats the worst you can lose? A couple hundred bucks...but think of the potential ROI, even if they get to $10 youve made 60% profit

I'm still not sure if this is a world inhabited by stamp & card collectors, train spotters or investors???

I can't talk... I'm just as bad - I'm sure there is an element of the 'collector' about most domainers ;)
That is why even when we are offered a fair price for a domain we are reluctant to sell... :'(

I've been self employed for 15 years. So I always look at worst case scenario first.Even if it takes 24 months for them to start rising its still a good bet.

100 domains(premium still available) x $4.99 (+tax+ICANN fee)= ~$500 per yr x 2=~$1,000

There is almost no way that you won't be able to squeze $1,000 out of your 100 domains.

How much have you wasted on names that you eventually let drop??

I'm with you WGS_Thunder..... Its worth the 10 hands of Blackjack :hehe:
