GoDaddyGoDaddy
HotNewThing

HotNEWThing.com was one of my first regs. I figured that is is a common phrase that has been around for ever, refering to whatever the hot new thing of the time is.

No good offeres yet. :]

I've been very successful with phrase domains. My favorte of the ones I have is WhatsMyName.com. I've sold WhatsMyJob.com, WhatsMyRate.com, SellMyDomains.com, etc. You might notice that a lot of companies, especially credit card companies for whatever reason, use phrase domains in advertisements to hook people in, like MyNewCard.com, etc.

I think it depends on how the phrase is used and if it's old or new. By that I mean, is it an old saying (that's been around for years) or a new one (which might not be popular next week , let alone years from now)?

I recently picked up: HotToTrot.info. It goes with my "old saying" example above.

I figured if nothing else, some chick out there would love to have an email such as [email protected] :]

On the "New phrases" end, I've regged : ObamaMama(s).com. I was pleased to see that it's now #1 in google search results out of over 1/2 million results. When I regged it, there were only a handful of results. It seams this term, as I had hoped, is catching on with the ladies. I expect this one to do well. Right now, it goes to a cafepress shop I opened up selling ladies wearables for the likable Senator. I've been getting some sales out of it while I wait for an offer or two! :p

I've let my phrase domains drop, they were pretty old sayings so not popular anymore like "lordloveaduck.com" I saw a funny one on ebay recently - jesusmurphy.com - I almost bid on it LOL

I have had TakeMyAdvice_com and ToAndFro_com for several years, just waiting for a decent offer or good idea to develop. Stats show that people actually type these in from time to time....especially ToAndFro_com a lot lately (I don't know why).

Some of these are very, very good.

I used to own BuyMySite.net and SellMySite.net, both of which were decent but not great. I sold them for a profit the day after I regged them.

The only phrase-domain I have right now is the declarative BuyPorn.org. The ext is a bit weak but it's still a popular keyphrase :)

Wow, both are pretty good. TakeMyAdvice in particular is screaming for Web 2.0 development!

FadeProof.com

I could go on and on......

odd

Its odd how a certain phrase will go through spurts for type in traffic and spike certain months.

I like jesusmurphy, my mother always said that...
