Sorry to have to start another thread regarding .LINK, but i wasn't able to answer questions "if" there was a "link" of any kind in the text of the post/message I was responding to.

I was able to hand register slightly more than a thousand names with about 20 of them being "Premium" names that sold for $116 each, and one that I purchased for $478, the corresponding .com is valued at $8,800,000.

Since a host of individuals have confirmed that, ".LINK is no worse than .XYZ", I just knew .link was a good alternative to .com and a good rival for .xyz :xf.wink:

Curious anyone? Lets have some fun(y)

I do understand those things, I've been in domaining long enough. Just don't waste your money on domains like bastard.link...
With regards to bastard.link, i really don't recall why i registered it? I was probably thinking about some bastard somewhere, but I honestly don't recall. From that same list i also registered the domain illumination.link, and i can be very specific as to why I registered it, not to mention that i paid just $2.19 for it.

Hi
Thank You for clarifying that your private email was not an endorsement.
as the same quote, word for word, was posted 8/19 on another forum implying that you were.
additionally, you were mentioned in a post on 6/3, in which your name was used in association with this subject.

the real always exposes itself, so i waited until it manifested.

of course i know the deal, but those who half-read and don't or will not question... will consume and therefore assume.

imo...
You're so right Biggie...."the real always exposes itself"

***My Apology***
Bob....i'll have to go back and check, but I don't recall this being from a "private email" you sent me? Was it from a private email you sent someone else? I
My sincere apology @ThatNameGuy - I should have checked more carefully. I had thought that it was from the email exchange we had when you related who the purchaser of .link was, but it was not from that email.

I wrote the paragraph you quoted in a public reply to you on NamePros on May 23
-- https://www.namepros.com/threads/binge-buying-and-link.1273937/post-8604847

I should have checked more carefully, and my sincere apology.

It does not change the fact that what I was saying in the quoted paragraph is that .link was, in my opinion, far better than the other auctioned former Uniregistry TLDs (.audio, .auto .blackfriday, .car, .cars, .christmas, .click, .diet, .flowers, .game, .gift, .guitars, .help,.hiphop, .hiv, .hosting, .juegos, .lol, .mom, .photo, .pics, .property, .sexy, and .tattoo) just because .link is potentially useable by a much larger pool of end users. Without checking all the others, I am pretty sure .link has more registrations and a larger aftermarket sales volume. So yes, I think it is the best of the auctioned TLDs.

In the comment linked above, to a rather long post in total, I did also provide a link to sales of .link domains, and point out that it's abuse rating was favourable.

Anyway, I mainly wanted to apologize to readers for being incorrect about the source of the quote, and to @TheNameGuy in particular. I'm sorry.

Apology accepted Bob....we've been friends for a long time in domain years:xf.wink: I never got an apology from the likes of John Berryhill who falsely accused me of cyber-squatting five years ago. It was another "Richard Morris" from North Carolina, and not me, who was found guilty via a UDRP filing, but dd i ever get an aplolgy from Berryhill ? Come to think of it, that's why I may have registered the domain Bastard.link:xf.smile:

Thanks again Bob for all you do.

So Biggie.....we all make mistakes. Just picked up Linkusers.link. Would you like to join? I think Biggie.link would qualify you for membership.....please think about it.

I assumed you stated this publicly somewhere.

To use something that was said privately in an email as a public endorsement is kind of messed up.

Brad
OMG Brad....i guess we all make mistakes. Care to join the "Link Users Group"?

That wallet needs restraining. 😋
Do you even know what a "users group" is or represents? How about $2.19? (speaking of wallet restraint):xf.wink:

If you don't know I'd suggest you learn, or at least be open minded enough to say that you don't know.

Here are a few more i'll be registering later today;

QHomes.link
QBoats.link
MyApology.link

in case you weren't aware the "Q" stands for quality as in "Quality Homes"

ps.
most of the really good single word .link domains have already been registered, but many two word domains are still available.

When you have to explain what a domain means, it's a problem for me.

What do you mean? People love non-intuitive brands! They're super accessible and desirable.

We can all hash it out in the new user group which is definitely being created. When Rich says he's going to do something, he does it! No false starts here, just 100% pure follow-through.

Also when you have to put parts of a domain name in bold it also bothers me.

Thanks Joe.....Nursing.link is being considered by one of our local medical schools, EVMS. You may recall i use to be in the medical billing business and the "users group" for Acsel was one of the keys to our success. Do you know how many nursing schools and nurses there are in the world?....how about just Canada? btw, are you aware how much DAN.com is asking for Nursing.xyz? I know you won't check it out, but it's pretty damn important if you're to play in my game:unsure:

I want to be positive but I'm struggling to cut through the guff.

Nursing.link is a good name for a nursing school...... Probably. If they have a use for it. Are they likely to pay top dollar for something like this if they are a school? I thought schools were pretty conservative with their budgets so that they could maximise the teaching aspect.

Nursing.xyz price is of no relevance to this, it is a private individual who we know prices their domains high.

Thanks for the feedback....not sure what you mean buy: "Nursing.link is a good name for a nursing school"? And i'm not sure what you mean by "top dollar"? Keep in mind i paid just $116 for it so top dollar to me would be around 15K, however if it were to be used for a nurse registry, it could bring a whole lot more. Come to think of it, i may buy NurseRegistry.link if it's available.

Finally, in all due respect I'm not looking to sell any of my domains to another domainer, so i really don't need to impress you thank God:xf.wink:

fyi. upon registering Tossup.link, i was led to register TossupSports.com.......see how much fun I'm having:xf.grin:Any idea who might want TossUpSports? Thanks again!

You said a medical school was interested in nursing.link...

Yes i did, but i misunderstood you. I thought when you said Nursing.link was a good name for a nursing school I took you literally...sorry. That said however, there are a lot of different potential uses for Nursing.link, and the one i mentioned for a "nurse registry" makes sense. I happen to own a few more medical related domains like Surgery.link and Cardiology.link that i need to get in front of surgeons and cardiologists who happen to have more money than God.....some of them even think they're God:xf.wink:

Anyway, thanks again.

In Canada? A lot less than there used to be!
I know you won't check it out, but it's pretty damn important if you're to play in my game:unsure:
The game of a multi-national, rain-making domain tycoon? That's but a pipe dream for me, Rich.

No... my meagre skills and paltry imagination have condemned me to a life of mediocrity that carries over into my domaining career. Alas, I must settle for but a few sales per year, and nary an opportunity to change the domain industry for the betterment of mankind. I leave that to the doers... the dreamers... dare I say, the Domain Heroes (TM, patent pending, all rights reserved).

Speaking of that @ThatNameGuy, how is your lawsuit going? I forgot who you were suing was it Verisign, GoDaddy, and/or some other party?

I have been staying tuned, much to your chagrin, but surprisingly have not seen any updates about it.

As Joe pointed out, you are well known to follow-through so I must have just missed it.

Please give us an update!

Brad

Brad....are you talking about the class action SuetheBastards.com filing? It's against the crooks at Go Daddy, and my good buddy John Berryhill should be able to help you out.

He could use tossup.link to decide who to sue first...
