".LINK is no worse than .XYZ".....like the .com loyalists despising the .xyz insurgence, the .xyz loyalists despise the .link insurgence.

While most of the really good "single word" .link domains have been registered still a few remain. For example, the day after Thanksgiving I was able to register Thankfulness.link that happens to be no worse than Thankfulness.xyz or Thankfulness.com.

In the way of an update.....domains under management aka DUM has grown from 200,000 to 221,000 since May, and 1,500 of those I've registered. In addition, i have it from some reliable sources that "Good News is Coming"

You're missing the point Richard. Naming is easy, being able to obtain the best suitable domain for the brand is a totally different game. It happens to be what we're discussing.

If it's not possible to obtain the .com or a decent alternative, go back to the drawing board and come up with a different brand. Don't pivot to a random TLD which happens to be available.

As for acsel... You didn't own the .com did you?

I sold out to my partner in the early nineties to start Contact USA for which I did register the domain ContactUSA.com......a terrible name I know, but when you own a call center that contacts millions of customers throughout the United States of America what are you going to do

Via Chrome browser goes to default Namesilo page with no way for people to contact you, make an offer

Via Firefox and I have Eset installed, it's blocked. It's like no learning is taking place, you haven't progressed one bit. You're still not setup to actually sell domains. Among many other of the same problems. Getting all these .link domains, 2 worders, even tho it's easily 90%+ 1 word .links that are selling. I see all the money you spend on these and wonder what would happen if you hopped on Namejet and bought some decent under $100 .com. You might get your first sale.

I disagree. Groundhog Day actually involved some learning curve.

If ThatNameGuy featured in that movie, they could just film the first day and then replay it many times until the spell is broken in some way or it is Santa Barbara-like soap opera.

The good news is you don't need to be a self-proclaimed "word prodigy", "visionary", or other titles to make domain sales.

I make plenty of actual domain sales without the need of titles, puffery, or constant namedropping.

That's right....my partner bought me out before the company had a need for a domain, and I posted here the first domain I purchased for any of my companies was for Contact USA (ContactUSA.com) back in the 90's. Another company I started in 1973 Credit Control Corporation, and sold in 1985 for 250K, uses the domain CreditControl.net today.

With regards to my branding proficiency....the only thing i can say is that Acsel is NO WORSE than Elix
