Likes and thanks on posts

I see a feature to add 'likes' or 'thanks' on some posts, but not on others. So was wondering how does this work, does this only work in certain subforums? thanks.

The likes and thanks is disabled in marketplace because np doesnt want the wrong impression to see dislikes on domain sales. I asked this before. They are trying to remove that button or come up with a solution, on something like the thread starter can dislike a dislike (neutralize it).
