Last night i totalled a brand new 2006 Ford Explorer. The engine was broken in half, the axel was broken in half, the front wheels fell off along with the suspension and other parts.

I hit my head on something and my shoulder on the door and window... no airbag was ever deployed.. what should i do?

What you should do is contact a lawyer asap and waste no time in doing so.

:bingo:

Good luck! If no airbag deployed in such a tremendous wreck, there's a good chance that you'll have a good case against Ford. That is completely uncalled for -- lives could have been lost due to it.

Glad you're ok though! :kickass:

Contact a lawyer like yesterday. If the airbag did not deploy like it was designed to do that is a serious matter.

Airbags today, in newer cars, are designed to deploy only in accidents that occur at 30 mph or more (according to my driver ed instructor). So if you hit someone or someone hit you at 30 mph or more, the airbags should have deployed. Your wreck sounds pretty bad. So I'm pretty sure it happened at more than 30 mph for your engine to split. But just thought you might want that info.
