.tv Lead Generation for .TV domains

Just an idea but I think it is worth a try. I have noticed on a few domains of mine and of MBerkens that if you type in keyword TV into BING or Yahoo that if the domain is forwarded to your main domain site or another site the domain will rank on page one of Yahoo or Bing for that phrase. True, one can question how often people are really typing in keyword TV into Yahoo or Bing. However, this is a fairly easy step and given more interest in video content might just result in a lead for your domain. I am going to review my .TV portfolio and change the titles as well.

It seems if the titles are missing the desired effect does not occur (need to change to forward with masking - not forward only). A few examples where it seems to be working using BING

Perhaps not what I am trying to illustrate because I used a longer title (high intensity interval training) than the abbreviated domain HIIT but see what happens...

Here I may be losing the lead gen benefit (visitor would not know the domain is for sale) but the forwarded domain does rank...

Now that I think about it perhaps this could be done with TV.com domains as well.

MWD is an authoritative site with PR so perhaps this would be a selling point for using MWD as a broker
