Up until now I parked my domains using the GoDaddy parking service but I really don't like the way they show their ads and the TINY message that says this domain is for sale.

I've been looking at EFTY for a change, what do you guys think of it? It is worth all the hype? Is it a better alternative than the ugly GoDaddy parking pages?

Does EFTY help you rank better in the search results in order to get more clicks?

If not, what do you guys recommend

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
maybe try some of the other ppc services, before using a lander

but if you don't have type-in traffic names or link traffic, then parking won't benefit you

for years, domainsponsor had the most unattractive pages, but they produced great results.

so, aesthetics isn't always an indicator.

imo...

I use ParkingCrew if traffic is high or significant...
If no or very low traffic - then Bodis...

I use my own websites - currently have one complete site for sale in auction on Flippa - jagdomains.com. By hosting your own website you have individual pages for each domain name with SEO so is ranked by Google. You can add your own Adsense ads or other advertising, along with having a blog or other articles to help drive traffic to your site. Sold another domain name today via inbound offer ...

hire someone, look at how the site was created, learn how to create using a Content Management System either WordPress or Joomla.

Do a course, add value to your domain name & your skill set.

If I don't mistake there is a wordpress themes for domain sales! I forget about the feature, but I think its more cool than unregistry, landing page! and also it can catch inquiry because when someone want your domain, they can make offer and fill their phone and name , so you can follow up and make sales! I think the price about $25-$50, if you have a lot of domain, $50 its fair price! :xf.grin:

imho, landing pages & domain portfolio sites are two different things,

1. I use Joomla for the sales landing pages eg. www.ethwallet.org

2. The domain portfolio site I use a script eg. www.qlq.com.au

@LiamShiff, You can use a free theme from wordpress and use free plugins as well and it will work and look like one of the domain sales page themes, you don't have to pay for a theme or plug in to start. Pick up some books on wordpress and just start playing around. There are some cheap ones for kindle, even loaners. You can figure it out. Joomla is supposed to be even easier but I jumped in with wordpress mainly because of the way I will develop some of my domains I think wordpress is the way to go. After a few hours/days it will start coming together. Maybe some bulging eyes and some cursing but it will come together before you know it and you will keep learning as you go as well.

@Corey and @Kpett. Thanks for posting in this thread and the previous one that was similar. You and others have given me ideas and inspired me to do some things with some of my domains similar to what you have got going on. I still trying to fine tune some things but those posts and examples are much appreciated.
I also agree @Corey and your explanations are great examples, here and previously. There are differences in the pages whether it is a landing page, portfolio, or sales page. They are all unique amongst themselves as you have pointed out. It depends on how you want to approach things based on many things and the same domain can be on all the different types getting out there in many ways as well.

Few hosted solutions out there...

1) https://domainmarketpro.com $7,$17,$35/Month
2) https://www.efty.com $4,$7,$19/Month
3) http://blog.bodis.com/improved-domain-sale-landing-pages/ $0/Month
4) https://uniregistry.com Set To Self Broker and Set To Sales Pages $0/Month

Various scripts to put on your own server...

5) https://themeforest.net/item/domain-broker-2-landing-page-to-sell-domains/12578919

I've used all of these among many many others in the past. Most recently I've been using #1, #2, #5

Route deals through your own choice of escrow https://escrow.payoneer.com etc...

Can you keep your domains registered at their original registrars?

Absolutely

If just looking for free sales pages to test then #3 and #4.
If looking for sales pages with a domain market option and don't mind a monthly fee then #1 and #2
If you want it on your own server then #5

Personally #1 is the best hosted option I've seen at the moment as far as being complete in features, SSL which is becoming more important, https://domainnamewire.com/2017/09/22/domain-inquiries-drop-next-month-blame-ssl/ can add your own ads etc...

#5 I really like as well but it displays domains on their own urls so not as simple to SSL hundreds of domains.

from reading 1st post and options provided, it surely could confuse one, as to, which direction to take.

if the question is:

parking and landers

then why does one need hosting, when all ppc services offer landers, at no cost?

just saying...

imo...
