I currently own both extensions of the L-N domain I own. (.com and .mobi)
Will this add value to the .com IYHO if so just a guess on the incrase in value?

At this point, most people aren't really concerned about dotmobi. Genuine dotcom endusers have likely never heard of dotmobi or know nothing about it. L-N.com's can fetch a pretty penny though... Give it some time :)

Speaking as an ex IS admin I think the addition of a dot mobi under the same domain name as the TLD just makes sence.
a business could run their communications server under a different IP Scheme and domain keeping information on their main servers safer from theft and easier to access by their employee and providing access via mobile.
For me it was alot easier to restrict access from a single domain to the main servers than it was from the www to the servers. TCO cheaper in the long run.

From a tech perspective, wouldn't this also work for a sub-domain?
