L-L-L dot com values?

What, if any, are the general values of a L-L-L dot com domains?

I think 3 letter words like s-e-x.com or f-u-n.com have value. I made money in a few transactions of L-L-L.com's. It's a very tough market otherwise.

Words are the only ones that have value. The rest can be dropped. D-U-F.com is not bad because it can be pronounced.

I haven't received any offers for L-L-L.coms for the past few months, but I'm still renewing them all. I guess the choice depends on how much money you have left to renew them.

I had some nice ones...l-o-t, n-o-r and so on.
Never any offers so I sold cheap and moved on. I own zero L-L-L now.

I still don't understand why there seems to be almost zero interest in these names. Every week we see Sedo report several $x,xxx sales of hyphenated names, often with even two or three hyphens.

So if especially the Germans don't mind hyphens, why don't they go for some L-L-L.coms? Strange...

I think germans prefer .de to .com unless the firm is inernational.
