p-o-p.com (16yrs) just closed at GD expired auctions at $355.
I think that's a good price although I wouldn't have bid over $200, wouldn't want to risk after seeing the constant drop in l-l-l sales prices.

I was following it to ssamriga and I agree its too risky just to sit there, years ago I paid up on V-V-V.com here on Namepros and sold it for a loss on DN Forum last year. p-o-p.com is better than the name I sold but its still risky hoping for a mid x,xxx sale.

Sorry no-one answered before now.

The double A is very good, particularly at the beginning where it comes in near the top in alphabetical listings, but Z is a rarely used letter in English. Z is OK in German, L-L-L sells well in Germany so there is your market. Unfortunately the entire L-L-L market is very very slow.

If you want a quick sale you can try it for $25 and see if someone buys it (there are sales sections in this forum, you want the short domain sales thread) Frankly it would surprise me if it sold but you never know.

The other possibility is to hold it for 5 years more or less (and pay renewals on it) and hope the market for L-L-L.com turns, as many here think it will. If it were me I would put that money in a better domain, although A-A-Z.com is a lot better than much of the junk people register.

But spend some time learning what makes domains valuable. That is a long process of study, but is the only way to make money in domains.

Hey all... been gone a while

Interesting read on the L-L-L domains now and nice to see the thread is still active. Albeit not as much.

I've let a few of mine go but held on to some like N-H-L.com, D-E-Q.com, P-S-U.com and a few others. I kinda like them. Again, the cool thing about them is that google doesn't see them any different so from an SEO standpoint, they are nearly as good as their non-hyphened counterparts.

But as with all things, beauty and value is in the eye of the beholder.
