As long as you're talking about L-L-L.com (and not, say, L-L-L.info or L-L-L-L-L.com), it's not a waste...I'm 99.9% sure you'll see significant increase in reseller value of these in the next 2-5 years, certainly enough to make renewing them worthwhile.
