Anyway, never sell your domains for prices that you aren't completely comfortable with, and especially don't sell to someone to be nice or do a favor if you're going to have regrets later or expect something in return.

Agree with dag, this is a cutthroat biz. I know that this community is great for advice and buying domains, however, it is not the best place to sell domains as you will very rarely sell at or higher than current market value. When I choose to sell here or start an auction I already know ahead of time that I may not be getting the best end of the deal.. That's why I only really sell here for a couple reasons: I need quick cash, test the market (in offers/fixed price forum) or want to dump names that I do not want to renew... The best place for sales at NP is the live auctions as they get the most attn and potential bidders.

The buyers here are looking for the best deals on quality names. I know that I do too. I don't feel bad if I find a great deal here, and usually the seller is happy that the deal happened or they wouldn't have sold. Just my two cents.. Dont worry GoPC your kindness will payoff somehow like dag said.. Hang in there and hang on to the high quality L-L-L's IMHO :)

y-s-t won on tdnam for $20 + regfee ($28 in total)

Very good deal in my view, as my proxy bid was a lot higher.

With this, I think I am done buying for now.

That's a sure fire way to get the person who owns it to try and squeeze the last drop of money out of you if you advertise they are you initials. ;)
You should get a friend [at NP] to approach them so they'll never know the person who has those initials wants it. Just get your "friend" to pretend he/she's just buying another ho-hum L-L-L.com...
:hehe:

It's called NEGOTIATION tactics. :D

Hehe, yea but if this buyer got a great deal on it at snapnames what are the chances he/she is going to want just a quick minimum flip?
