Plus, where have you had that domain for sale recently for a stated price of $65 or less? I haven't seen it, and you might not have noticed, but prices are on the increase and if you offered it for $65 now, I'm sure you'd have a taker. If you're talking about trying to take offers on it, you'll have much less of a chance of selling, or even getting the offers, because we all expect you to be asking more than we're willing to pay right now. Put it up for auction here, and I bet you'd do pretty well, though.

I don't look at Make Offer forum at all because usually you can't find a bargain there and I don't have enough time to look in many forums but I'm daily looking for dropping names.

I've sold domains off this thread for more than $65 and I've sold alot for around $30 lately... because I felt obligated or wanted to "be nice" or just plain help a guy out...

But I have to say, I feel like steak at a Lion Convention.

I still have over 70 of these domains up for sale... but offers for $37 bucks for H-M-O, N-H-L, H-U-D and other PREMIUM l-l-l.coms is getting old. Then, when I do sell one for under $50... all I ever hear about is how that silly seller got taken when he should have sole for 4 times as much.

This forum, lately, has taught me alot about "friendship", favors and self imposed moral obligations.

I'm tired of hearing "well I would pay $500 or more for that domain!... Er, me, buy it? No way dude..."

Half you guys own half my domains now... and paid FAR LESS than they are worth.

I'm truly glad to have helped. What I don't understand is why karma hasn't come around.

I guess domaining just doesn't work that way.

Forgive my frustration... it's late. Minus the angst, you get my point.

That's something I did not know. I just posted a handful of my l-l-l.com in the Make Offer forum, and I'm not expecting inflated prices. In fact I'm aware of exactly where the market rests right now, and I expect low offers, which I intend to accept.

Although I have noticed a lot of posts there claiming they are "priced to sell" when in fact they are 50% or more above market.

Truth be told, h-m-o.com is your only remaining l-l-l.com that grips me. What will you sell it for right now?

That's true. I think you are talking to me. But maybe you made the better turnaround. Perhaps the market will change and I will lose all of my investment ;)

At that time you will be pleased you took a profit when you did.

8, actually ;)

So you complain, but you don't want to sell h-m-o.com on a reseller market where $69 premiums are still to be had now and again, do you? Why not hang onto it? It's worth keeping for $7.xx a year isn't it?

I've never bought a domain from you, although I did make a $100 offer on H-M-O and $50 each on H-I-T and P-S-U last October that you turned down, although I have to say at reseller prices at that point those weren't bad offers. You wanted an amount well above reseller -- you were looking for offers that took into account your traffic and clicks. Fair enough -- but when you start to be asking for PPC-related prices, it's a whole different ball game.

Anyway, never sell your domains for prices that you aren't completely comfortable with, and especially don't sell to someone to be nice or do a favor if you're going to have regrets later or expect something in return. If you've done something you think is karma-worthy, I'm sure it'll come back to you somehow...it just might not be from where you think.

i totally agree with you dag

if you are doing a business i never think you are doing any favors to someone.
If you did in that way then you have done a mistake.

Because what i know from being in domain business resellers will always try to get them cheap.

Funny...I thought I had bid it up into the $40s, but you're right. Guess I felt like I was part of the action after that, watching it rise... :D
