Here is an interesting blog post on the LLL.com market. If you think L-L-L.com prices will increase because LLL.com's are getting out of reach, then it's a good read.

besides the rising of the prices of LLL.com can be good news by meaning L-L-L.com will have their prices increased as well, L-L-L.com are a great alternative for companies that cant pay for a LLL.com (the small ones) or for those companies that have their acronym used by other with the same one... BCF, cited in the article is a great example

if i were B-C-F.com's owner i would surely contact the australian company and offer them B-C-F.com showing them all the advantages of having a L-L-L.com such as being an acronym, the SE see L-L-L as LLL (they ignore the hyphen), they would pay a very reasonable price and both seller and buyer would be happy and i would also show them there are about 25% of L-L-L.com developed what means it is not a bad idea at all having them as their acronym

ye, ive had to sell a couple of mine to keep my cashflow positive. I already regret that choice, but sometimes it cant be helped

Well I have 13 up for sale at the moment starting at $50, plenty of lookers but no bidders, even from members who write on this thread!

I won them for 550$ (it's 42$ per each. approx average market price) but could not finish payment withing 24 hours and lost them

Ergo is correct, an extension was given but unfortunately Ergo was unaware of this as he was away from his computer at the time. Having had two deals 'agreed' last week only for the buyers to withdraw after the agreement I am afraid Ergo got the up shot of it.

After PM's between us it was agreed he was welcomed back to bid on any of my domains. This was an unfortunate series of events and hence no negative feedback. Ergo is a totally upright member of our community of that I am sure.

Thanks for the bids by the way Ergo, at least now you can cherry pick!

seems like the bottleneck in sales this month is not lack of interest, but lack of funds at the ready (certainly true for me at least). I've sold 3 L-L-L in the past week or so - one for $25 (via PM offer), one for $35 (auction BIN scoop from start @15), and one for $50 (auction high bid from start @20) - so average sales price $36.67 across a range of quality for the 3 (all decent pieces, and one especially interesting IMO).

TheBaldOne's offerings are all very nice pieces, $50 start is reasonable (though maybe hits that "stop and think about my budget" price point) ... Sometimes you just have to wait a while for some "new" money to come into the market to get the (reasonable, fair) price you want - but as they say, "no one ever went broke taking profits" - and the $110 I cleared on 3 sales equates to the reg fees paid for over 15 - will still be selling a few more in January to "cover" the other 19 I regged in October - but then will still be sitting on at least 27 for the long term, all their reg fees already more than paid for from the total of 7 I will have sold "too soon" ...)
