L-L-L.com values.... the point of our discussion, right?

I just HAVE to tell you about yesterday.

Y-D-K.com

Not a group of letters that any of us would jump all over simply because of the Y involved, but even so... I bought it.

Well, it gets pretty consistent traffic, a few uniques per day. Nothing to get to excited about... but wait, there's more.

When it gets licks, it's been averaging $1.34 per click. Nice clicks.

Which has been increasing. I've noted a steady climb in CPC for the past few weeks and three days ago, it climbed to over $3.00 per click.

Oddly enough, traffic has been increasing as well.

Yesterday, the domain made $13.34 in a single day! Granted, it only made $6 bucks the day prior but still... What a day!

So there you have it... another reason why the DASH makes little difference. Obviously, the click network doesn't give a rip on whether the domain has a dash or not... it's still relevant and can still earn serious CPC.

Its a nice one even though its not .com and fits the extension very well. Wait till you see the traffic before deciding to sell. A lot of my .nets are kickin some butt!

what is the significance of YDK? keywords, etc? what are the visitors looking for, or did you just park it with keyword 'YDK' ? well done!

where can i find a list of still avaiable l-l-l.com domains?

Very nice gopc, my top isnt making that as my keyword is "seo" usually for my L-L-L's but I am getting some nice traffic (including my premium .nets). One thing I would watch out for is if you are making money off a company with the same name, they might be able to take it from you (but I am not a lawyer- but have learned my lesson 2 times on this).

I would love to hear about others top traffic L-L-L's...

thanks, Gary.

hello new member obi79 - and welcome to namepros! you can believe approximately half of what you read here. I think that's actually a pretty good percentage - but I'm still trying to figure out which half !!!

L-L-L.com discussion has so far been very much mostly in "the better half" so far though, IMO ... read the threads, do some research (teh google is your friend - here's a tip I got from another NPer (whose name I really should dig up now to give proper credit where it is due) - if you are interested in an L-L-L and want to check google results for the name WITH THE HYPHENS INCLUDED, then do the search on the "L=L=L" with '=' equal sign instead of '-' hyphen ... otherwise you'll get (also very useful, more plentiful) results which ignore the hyphens in the query.

Check the signatures of posters in this thread :hi: and look for some good bargains in the aftermarket - they are out there especially right now in December (Christmas present budget for sellers == good opportunity for buyers). (I'm keeping my own prices for L-L-L pretty high though, still a fair trade IMO).

Happy hunting!

I searched for the term "ydk" and looked at the archives for it. Also paid attention to the ads that came up during the searches on various engines... Overwhelmingly, Network Server Management came up repeatedly, along with Internet Technologies and management. So I fine tuned the keywords to reflect the general interest and it has seemed to work. As time goes on, it gets more and more refined and effective, as was demonstrated yesterday.

I go through the same process for all my domains, L-L-L domains included.

Relevance is critical. Don't discount the value of Search Traffic in a world where the focus seems to be on direct navigation. In my opinion, search traffic is better focused anyway. Weeds out the "shot in the dark" surfers. ;)

My best rev one is a .net H-M-O couple bucks a week or so. Hows the .com doing for parking? Actually my top 3 are .net's m-p-s and 3-6-0.

PARKED... hands down! Get to parked as soon as possible. Better Revs, better landers and the opportunity, like my H-M-O.com domains, ONE PAGE landers too.

Parked doesn't car about the dashes either. So it pays to move to Parked. Literally and figuratively. ;)

So Buckshot... the .net is paying well? That's good to hear. Take what you are earning from the .net and multiply is several times (perhaps more) and you'll get a better feel for what the .com is doing. That, H-U-D and a few others make me sit back and chuckle every time I hear someone on the threads rip on L-L-L domains, say they are worthless and so on...

These are BY FAR, the best investment I have made en mass. For much LESS than a LLL, I may be making JUST AS MUCH as an LLL. Who Knows? ;)

Proportionately though, it's a given. I AM making a better return.

No... that's a default for domains that aren't properly set up I think... why? What is pointing to that?
