Wow, there sure was a lot of hub-bub over this post. everyone seems to agree that you got these l-l-ls at a real bargain at $32.50 each. I won't argue that but i find it interesting as I've been advertising n-n-n and people don't seem to want to pay more than $50 for em. which is interesting because i thought due to the relative scarcity that they would be worth much more. but then again domainers can talk out of both sides of their mouth sometimes. can say a domain is worth xxx but wont shell out xx to buy one. anyway i guess thats besides the point, but if l-l-l are a steal at $32.50 then its probably fair to say they still sell well for $50 which puts them at parity with n-n-n from my perspective. anyone arguments there? what is your perspective l-l-l.com?

you are totally right about this CDM

when we say it was a bragain we mean it really was but it doesnt mean all of us have this ammount of money to buy these names or want to invest in them (eg LLLL.com is a very good niche where we can buy names from right now)
besdies, these L-L-L.com and N-N-N.com are undervaluated, just like happened with L-L.com some years ago when everybody said they were worth nothing and now we know they are wrong
besides, we are pioneers buying these names as we strongly believe in short names and we think with end-users brains as well, not only with domainers brains where "hyphens are always crappy"; the difference is we already know hyphens are not crappy and others will be taught by the market in some years hyphens are not crappy but we will laugh and they will keep asking themselves "why i didnt buy these names when they were $30?" for a long time
besides, economics is not nice now so there are just a few people buying and as i said before LLLL.com are very nice to buy right now

N-N-Ns are good, but L-L-Ls have many more potential end users, so when there are premium-letter L-L-L.coms going for $32.50, that's ultimately a much better deal than a typical N-N-N at the same price. Low end for even "bad" letters right now is typically $15 to $20, so what he got for those prices was fantastic.
