Also there is no TM issue here, 'apple' is a common dictionary word and cannot truly be trademarked. It can be used in domain names as long as it is not used to point to similar products/services Apple uses it for. Although a little cheeky, 'apple' in this instance could be referring to the actual fruit

Not really many uses for it, unless you are going to use the coin to purchase Granny Smith apples. Once you start integrating certain grades of technology to the coin, you would have got a c&d.

Otherwise if apple bought it, that will be a a blow.

Reg fee to $2K, isn't bad for a domain that reeks of TM issues, which would deter anyone from developing.

Amazon is a more generic keyword having to deal with the rainforest, and they have alot of equity to play with, Bezos net worth went up $10B last week alone in a single day. Imagine what the overall company did.

I agree Apple is one of the most consumed fruits, it is one of the most generic terms out there, however it gets looped into alot of TM talk as it is one of the most popular electronics also.
