It feels great to finally have joined NP!

Hello all! I discovered this forum about a month ago, and I was immediately hooked. Although I wanted to join right away, I saw many people saying there is a steep learning curve to domaining, so I decided to read through old threads for a few weeks before joining. I have been on here reading day and night since then, often staying up overnight since I just couldn't stop reading. Learning about domaining is really addictive...

English is not my native language, but I love learning English and investigating English words, and I always look up definitions of words, their synonyms, explore their connotations, and so on. I think this why I was so attracted to domaining from the get-go, since a skillful domainer needs to be an expert wordsmith, and be really good at understanding what kind of words work together, and what kinds of meanings and feelings they convey.

Finding a good domain takes a lot of work, but the feeling when it is there in front of you is amazing, so I look forward to keep searching, and improve my skill of finding (and seeing) good names.

There is so much valuable information here, and it is great to see how willing people are to share their best ideas on different domaining topics. Looking forward to be part of the NP community!

As many have commented, NP is indeed a great place to learn. It is amazing to think of all I have learnt about domaining now, that I had no idea about a month ago. And I'm probably going to say the same a month later too!
