Ok guys I just reviced a email not too long ago from [email protected] having the content below -

I also tried clicking the link and it just redirects to yahoo.com or goes to webaliasnetwork...Is this fake email? Or did I really win $500?

Hold your cursor over the link for about 2 seconds and it will show the actual url. If your using online webmail just put your cursor over it and look in the status bar. It will show the actual URL.

If you look at the link the url will be diffrent i dunt think it can be real...

99% fake, I think that yahoo will never use payment procesors such as stormpay

Well how could it come from [email protected] and I cant do that in my webmail as I use vDeck with a 256bit SSL encryption so it also encrypts the links in emails...

It can be done pretty easily by PHP. :)

Agreed. This was probably the biggest flag for me. Have you tried viewing the source to see if the url was fudged?

Pretty sure Yahoo! doesn't use PHP. If you look at the URL in the email it shows 'prizes.php'
