Is it possible to sell .ccs?

I have a few good (in my opinion) .cc names: hotlink.cc, slice.cc, and capitalist.cc

Is it possible to get above reg fee for them? For those of you who have sold .cc names (or any other lesser-used extensions), where did you sell them? It's so hard generating interest.

Yes, it is definitely possible to get more than the reg fee, but don't expect to get what you would for a dotcom. What kind of prices have you been posting?

Your names don't really work with the random ccTLD, so you shouldn't just expect people to want them.

I have sold some .cc names in the past year. Nearly all were sold above reg fee. You have to have really good keywords, as there are still a lot of single-word .cc names avaialble.
I believe .cc names are going through a little lull right now, as far as interest in the extension is concerned. However, I believe in the .cc extension, and the value of good domains. If you believe in your domains, then be willing to hold them for a little while, and even renew them.

Sold a nice and short .cc domain at Afternic for $1,200 a few days ago. (I prefer not to mention the name publicly, but it should show up on the Afternic Sales page soon). The best price I ever got for a .cc name was $3,000, a couple of years ago. And I'm hoping that the best is still to come :blink:

Most of my .cc sales whent through Afternic, even after I started parking with Sedo. Not sure why..
