Is it possible to sell a reserved domain?

Hi, I want to ask something.
I have reserved a few very good domains with .insurance extension.
But I still dont know the future reg fee price.
Could I theoretically sell them to somebody if I see the reg fee price will be too high for me?
Not now, but when the day of release and reg fee price will be known.
Also have .cloud domain reserved and .phone.
Is it possible?

It may happen that same name is pre-ordered by multiple people so you never know if you would be owner of this name or not. So its simple you cannot sell before you get hold of it.

I just went to gandi.net and randomly tried to reserve data.cloud out of your list as a test. They allow me to reserve it. I don't think you're guaranteed to get it.

Reserved at one site doesnt mean reserved at every registrar. Every registrar would try to register thr pre-orders as soon as registrations are open. Only lucky ones would get the domains they pre-ordered.

I tried to do the same at DonDominio and it was reserved.
Anyway I keep them until I see the reg fee price to see if I could reg them

1. You are by no means guaranteed to get that name.
2. You can not sell it. I'm positive that that will be considered a fraud by most buyers.

Why froud?
It theretically I have something reserved andfinally see the price is too high for me, instead of leave it, better give it to somebody.
I dont know if it is pissible or not, so I asked it here.

It's very simple.

You don't own it. Like already mentioned, the registrar (their snap service) will only try to get the domain for you. It is no guarantee at all. You can not reserve a name that way, only hope you'll get it. Many really good gTLD will be taken either during the landrush period or at a registrar auction.

If you sell something you don't own, it is a fraud.

Ps. There is no way you will get a domain such as Online.shop for less than $XXXX or even $XXXXX, It is either registry reserved (blocked) or will sell expensive, way before general availability.

for one last time, you can't sell reserved domains(pre-ordered domains) as no one guarantees this domain to you. Their might be 20 more users pre-ordering same name on some other site. So your chance of getting the domain would be 1/20. If you dont have this domain and thr is very last probability you would get it how can you sell it ?

Home.insurance, car.insurance, life.insurance will definitely be registered reserved or have premium pricing. You can only reserve your right to buy these names for when they are released, which other will do also, meaning they could go to a closed auction.
