your saying is it legal if its legal where you live but not where the recipient lives? if you are then it realy depends on weather that persons goverment has access to you or to take you to court / arrest you...

I just wouldn't do it, because for one you are cheating somebody by not giving them the money they deserve.

each place has its own rules and laws. if in your place is not ilegal to delivery unlicensed material ok, is cool. But now this possibility is very remote, even my poor country have rules against piracy and ilegal distribution of unlicensed material.

is very important to know rules and laws, cause is not an answer to say : i didnt know that this was ilegal. country laws start thinking that u already know all laws and rules, ignorance is not a excuse.

finnaly, if in my country is legal to deliver an unlicenced copy ok, but i cant export an unlicensed copy to another country which has rules against piracy becasue u would be doing somehing ilegal. so second country will wait u, as soon as u be there, u probably will acused to do something ilegal like, deliver unlicensed material.

My 2 cents. If the material you're going to distribute is copyrighted but you can distribute it because at your place it is legal to do so, anyway try to contact author and ask for the rights either free or for a license payment. Let's do the world more civilised. Respect authors who do hard work to develop interesting and popular things.

im not agree with you wastidas. Poor country cant afford licenced materials,so ppl cant access software and a lot of thinks. USA has a extended idea about patented medice formulas, So my country should be wait a lot of years until try to sell generic medicines( chepper that non generic medicine) and wat happen with ppl of my country, the will die cause they have not $50 buck to buy a non generic medicine. This is wrong. I think is good do bussines but this has a limit. And wat about software? ppl onf my country havent got $380 buck to buy a software, So forget it comercial software , we probably still using basic with atari or comodore computers.
