I'm just wondering if .cc is a decent TLD. I found my a business name I'm interested in and am wondering if it is worth purchasing. Also, are resale of purchased .cc domains a popular item?

Don't think CC domains are really selling for much unless they're premium. Google will still rank them, though.

I'd stay away from cc, it's probably the worst TLD ever, it was marketed as Carbon Copy, County Club, Country Code, Calling Card, Capital City and now as Crypto Currency, maybe some day it will be marketed as Crap Crap.

Yes, .cc is a decent extention..from my own view, it is the best alternative for .com with affordable price...

compare with other extention, it is short, memorable, well known by public person, looks nice with double "C", cheap renewal, stable as a well managed country code...

but if talking resale, ok, I think it is time for purchase, not for sell....I am keep buying at this moment if I find really nice word ava. for sale at an affordable price.

Do I like .cc domains? No. Would I buy one? Definitely not unless I lived in Cocos Islands.
Can you rank high on Google with .cc domains? Of course. If you have the best website in your niche it will be top of Google regardless of .com / .cc / .xyz / etc.

.CC is managed by Verisign... like .TV

And it has demand in China...
Regarding other markets - this is a question of luck...
