Is anyone else pulling out of Moniker?

So I'm not as big of a domain owner as I use to be, I use to have over 300 domains at Moniker and have sold many of those or let some expire. I feel that this is good business for Moniker as I have gotten them at least 20-30 new customers paying their full asking price.

Lately their site keeps loading slow or having issues as it is no longer hosted at RackSpace. Now all of their nameservers for dns hosting are all in the same location (it use to be distributed like enom). Their support is slow and doesn't seem to be very helpful. My account rep is a ghost and hasn't contacted me like I was promised.

Needless to say I have started pulling the last 55 domains I have with them over to other accounts at namecheap/dynadot.

Can anyone else recommend a registrar that actually cares about their customers?

Sorry....I don't do business with Godaddy if I can avoid it although I sent one of their reps an inquiry for consolidation purposes.

namecheap.com so far is awesome in their prompt response. I recommend them. System is easy to use unlike godaddy's clutterfest

Dynadot works well for my needs. They have great customer service during office hours.

I agree with pokainc exactly. Namecheap.com is much more easier to view, and use. Not a maze, like Godaddy! :yell:

Namecheap has been excellent, I have over 50 domains with them as well. Just trying to keep my options open.

NameCheap and GoDaddy for me. All my domains are out at Moniker now. I've been using NameCheap for three years and haven't run into a single issue. Their control panel is intuitive and support is excellent. GoDaddy is my second choice because they're the biggest.

I'm a fan of Fabulous.com. Great prices and the best RPC for ppc.

Ditto. They always offer the lowest prices possible and, at the same time, are very trustworthy.

I like Godaddy myself, but many don't. I also vote for Fabulous as great customer service and slick looking template.

I would say... Godaddy

Pity they never accept me for their monetization account. :td:

Have to second the opinion on Fabulous. They are, well, fabulous. But I've had great luck also at Name.com. Very responsive support, nice interface (at least for my purposes), and good prices.

Just curious to know how many a lot are? I have 250+ with them and how many does it take before GD roll out the red carpet? :)

Namecheap would be my choice followed by Godaddy then Dynadot.
I too have noticed that Moniker is not what it was. One of the most annoying and frustrating things lately is that I have repeatedly had to input basic instructions, such as DNS changes, before they are implemented.

Add me to that list but I haven't felt the need to leave. I rarely need support and especially immediate emergency support. But it wouldn't take much to piss me off and leave. Where I would go? Not sure...maybe namecheap. They always treated me well but maybe name.com. They seem to be pretty good. Jeez does anyone come into this industry with standards and then keep them? Seems they all sell-out to a larger company then turn into sheet. Moniker was better under Monte.

I would go fabulous if they accepted me into their PPC but also I want a registrar the comman person is familiar with and I believe Moniker is a better fit. What sucks is that most are Godaddy customers and want you to do a transfer. I hate that.

I used to like Moniker and I have approximately 1,000 domains with them. I am no longer getting discount with them since they raise their price so I'm looking for a new home with my domains. I heard Fabulous is great but you need to be accepted in their parking program to get an account. I am in this business to buy and sell domains and going toward buy and develop and then sell. Since I'm not here to get revenues in parking my chance of getting an account with Fabulous is slim.

So far what I can see from the feedbacks are that Name and Dynadot would be an alternative. As far as godaddy there's no way I will put my domains with them.

If there's other alternatives I would look into them and start transferring.
