So I was trying to register an .io domain name at GD. I have a long-standing GD account (9+ years), no changes recently in anything.
I can add the domain name to my cart as normal, but when I proceed to checkout it shows the following, that I don't recall ever seeing previously (and I have registered 15 other .io domains at GD in last 30 days). But worse,
it just spins forever, never actually getting to ask me the questions. So it is impossible to register a domain name.
I have deleted and added to cart again 3 times, all with same results. Anyone know how to get around this?

Updates:
1. I spent some time with their bot. Honestly, it writes more verbosely than me, but seems a pleasant bot.
2. Eventually it connected me to a real person. That person showed me a page, partly but not fully filled in, and asked to help him as he was going to enter my contact details. I said just use the ones that have been there for years and used for all my names. Anyway, my guess is something since Sept. 7 was changed, perhaps to fix the problem some blog writers pointed out re contacts and organization line. Anyway, in what he wanted me to help fill out he had me in Alabama. Pretty sure I am still in Canada. I rechecked my account and info is still correct there and complete. I have my default currency set to USD, not sure if that messed something up.
3. Anyway after 25-30 minutes with the verbose bot and then the real person, I got cut off from the chat. This was indeed a sad moment. I tried to reconnect, but it seems not. My heart is gone from spending another hour with them.
4. I did along the way try three different browsers, Chrome, Safari and Opera, and all 3 had some problem of saying needed additional information, but not telling me what it was. I tried waiting more than 30 minutes but it kept spinning on one of the tries.
5. Honestly, I don't want the domain name enough to take another hour. I suspect it is some combination of .io, a non US registrant, using USD as currency, and some change in how GD handle the contact address that broke something. I hope they fix it before the GD Discount Club .io deal, which is excellent, ends.
Update to Update:
I see someone else has now registered name (ironically at GD), so putting it out of my memory. See they have it quickly for sale, so best wishes to them selling the name.
