Importance of new TLD .gdn?

Hey guys.

Now when many new TLDs appears, one of them is .gdn
In Dynadot registrar this is cost just one dollar. But whats importance and popularity of this TLD between others?

~90-95% of them are so-called CHIPs by Chinese newbies...
Most will be dropped soon as it is already done in other TLDs...

It is too late already... for these one-time investors (or more exactly - sponsors)...

The question comes here poplur in which region? China? USA?
When I see stats, only found XYZ has inflated their registration numbers overnight from 2.8 mil to 6 mil between dates 05/30/2016 - 06/02/2016, same time their USA registrations are 204,138 as today and 60% registration in China. In compare gdn holding 99,606 out of their 328K registrations, so if I m based in USA whom do you think I should vote?

1- gdn registration has made 50% in China and 34% USA, whereas XYZ 60% in China and 7% in USA, what looks better to a USA resident?

a) Every new gtld been through with spamhaus
b) if gdn guys also inflate few hundred thousand registration same as xyz so they will also never appear in spamhaus (check out the Spamhaus arbitrariness systems )
c) #10 .us and #6 .top on the same list as well so do we consider they are spamming TLDs?

3- Who reported sale? does gdn report? The answer is NO - I sold personally 2 of my gdn domain in $XXXX to European company though I m also maintaining an inventory of xyz, site, website, top tlds but for some reason, I succeeded in breaking the deal for gdn domain names.

So as now I m happy with my gdn domain buying decision

But some episodical sales may happen in any TLD...
It is not a benchmark for aftermarket overall.

1- Let's wait and watch, GDN already done 1 year and till now i don't see any such drop, so let see in another 6 months.

Nothing wrong in that, xyz and .club already done 2 years and still you can find these TLD's under 0.88 with some registrars
