Just to share you, that I have won a great domain name through Godaddy expired auction before two days, but unfortunately it is renewed today and canceled from my account.

Happens all the time. Owner has 42 days beyond expiration to renew.

5-7 days after the auction ended.

I think Godaddy should change their policy regarding the expired auction, that they shouldn't start the auction unless the time exceeded for renewing the domain.

but....... at same time.. wouldn't we all be a happy bunch this rule was in place if it was one of our domains, that we forgot to renew....

which is why gd does this.. I am quite sure is not to pee people off.

That's the game brother. When we bid and pay for expired domains we know, it may not land in my account at all. Imagine the grief of fellas who registered ngtlds and after one year the registry snatched 'em back.
It was a pretty good name, but don't loose heart, it happens..
