I have EkAurEk.in - 1and1.in in Hindi. Sales Pitch?

I just regged EkAurEk.in
It literally means 1and1.in

Should I just keep it or try and sell it to 1and1.com, seeing that they might want to expand in the Indian market, and branding in the country's own language is always better.

I've never sold a domain by contacting an end user directly before. Can anyone tell me how to go about doing it? Or should I simply forget about it and just keep it for now, seeing that 1and1 is a good name in any language?

They could always just hit you with a Cease and Desist letter as well, as you haven't registered the name in "good faith".

I'd try it, but I would tread carefully. I'm quite surprised they haven't tried to pick up the name so far, but then again when I think it's 1 and 1, it's really not much of a surprise at all.

I would focus on the potential in the Indian market. 30% of Indians = entire population of the United States, and mention that the web hosting market isn't very monopolized in India.

I would have an asking price in mind before contacting them as well, and contact them by phone rather than e-mail as it's more professional (though others may disagree). 1-877-GO-1AND1.

EkAurEk = Doo / Do (Two)

AikAurAik = Do / Doo (Two)

Aik / Ek / Ak = One / 1

Many spellings are possible, sorry doesn't worth any thing.

You know, I have got Sulekhaa.com (The actual spelling of Sulekha .. lol but nobody cares, even I dont care as well)

1&1 is not a hosting term but a brand so worth nothing when translated.

Microsoft can be translated as .... ChootaSaSoft.

even that crappy movie "ek aur ek gyarah" had "ek" not "aik"

and "aik" is longer and looks kinda odd

"ek aur ek" is a very common term. if you speak hindi (which I assume you do), then I'm sure you must've heard this term a thousand times

1and1 does own UnoYUno.com (Spanish for 1and1)

1and1 has all the .com, and the country TLD for French, Spanish and German translations of 1 and 1.
they have unetun.fr and .com
unoyuno.com (the .es website is owned by someone else, and he has a very slick website there already)

I don't know why they haven't regged the hindi domain yet. Either they're staying away from the Asian market, or they simply forgot

and the French and German words for OneAndOne.com and .fr/.de
I would've checked more countries but I don't know the translations...

So methinks I have a decent shot at selling this to them

what approach should I use? just shoot them an email? if so, then at what address? the general info address at their website? 1and1 is amazingly slow in responding...
