Hello 1and1,
I monitor my domain names daily and have since started moving my entire
portfolio over to GODADDY. Since your services have proven to be on bad
faith and your personnel have dropped the ball on this transaction, I have
no need to conduct business with 1and1 anymore, and will spend the next 6
months transferring names that should have NEVER been registered with your
second-rate services. I have spent thousands registering names with 1and1
over the last year, and have come to regret my entire experience with "YOU".
I registered with 1and1 to begin with, because your rates were slightly
lower than your competitors. That slightly lower rate has cost me more than
the measly dollar that I saved per name when registering with 1and1 last
year. Follow these 6 rules if you ever plan on staying in business.
1. Your company does not offer free pushes from account to account.
2. Your customer service is as bad as Dell's.
3. When someone transfers names from one registrar to another, they
shouldn't expect to pay renewals for names already transferred out of their
account.
4. Instead of spending thousands of dollars posting your center-fold
advertisements inside computer magazines, you should spend that money on a
more user friendly business.
5. Take the advice from past 1and1 customers that dump millions into
GoDaddy, Enom, and Moniker, and learn from your mistakes.
6. Also take the advice of hundreds of domain forum users that buy and sell
domains daily and wonder why they don't have any business dealings with your
company.
I will be glad to pay your recent renewal fee, even though GoDaddy has the
names now. It's pocket change compared to what business you will lose when
hundreds ask me for your referral.
The $42 renewal fee you recently charged me after my names were transferred
will be talked about amongst my peers and co-workers as well. I'm just glad
I learned about your business flaws before I spent my next thousand dollars
with you.
Thank you for saving me another thousand dollars,
Jeremy :kickass:
As you can see..........I hate these guys with a passion.
