I was asked recently by Private Message on NamePros how do I price my VR Domains?
Pricing your Domain names can be tough but if you do some research you can put a realistic price on your names.

If you have a look at NameBio.com follow the VR Thread on NamePros and also the Sales thread on NamePros you will see how much names with VR are going for

It's common to you and me but to newbies they don't have a clue. You usually see silly names on auction sites priced into the Hundreds & Thousands. No Logic behind it. But if they understand how to price properly, maybe we could see a faster more efficient Domain marketplace.

To value any brand name is difficult, it's really more about the opportunities that are suitable for the name.

For VR your name as a brand has to display the qualities necessary for the technology, as well as having 'legs' to make it today and take it further down the path in 5+ years.

So for most, vrClown will not be worth reg fee, but for a provider offering virtual reality experiences of circuses, stand up comedy, clown performances, a comedy multimedia platform, then it might be worth thousands. Brands tend to go with KW+VR rather than VR+KW, but there is no concrete rule.

For example, I have vr\flirt which phonetically sounds better than flirt/vr, but both make good names for a vr dating hub.

Just my opinion of course.

It's just a classic 'supply and demand' thing, just like every product ever. It has value because many people wants them, all domain names would have been worthless otherwise.

Did you ever sell vrclown.com ? If so how much?
This thread is from 2016 and @apapu hasn't logged in since Oct. of that year.

It is an interesting thread, though, and I would love to hear some opinions now that there is more information available.

Peace,
Kenny
