How to receive payments in India

Hello friends!

I am a newbie from India and I need some guidance on how to receive payments in India.

By now I have only sold my domains through Godaddy Auctions and have received the payments by cheques. I am wondering how would I receive payments if I sell at Sedo, Flippa, NamePros and any other places. I have heard that receiving payments in India is difficult, PayPal / Wire Transfer doesn't work / isn't good and many other things.

Kindly suggest me the best payment methods available for India. Please mention any other things that I should know.

In both GoDaddy n Sedo they have options for direct wire transfer and Paypal.
It has worked well for me! (even though its bit late as am waiting for a big one, it works!)
For amount upto $xxx, u may opt for PayPal, but beyond that, always go for wire transfer.

I didn`t know that there is an option for wire Wire Transfer with GoDaddy. Can you explain how it works?

My Bad, Wire trans is avail in Sedo Only!! Not in GD.

No problem, it is just that I rejoiced when heard the wire is possible form GD...

Paypal is my first option (Via Digital Goods) and many buyers preferred to feel more secure & comfortable.

Nowadays many buyers agreed to pay by Bitcoin for quick and smooth transaction.

Payment option is depends upon Buyer's choice. you should be flexible with this and ready to take via buyer's choice.

If Buyer have trust in you,then just use western union (directly to your bank account in india) and very lesser fee than paypal.
