Novice here that would welcome help on how to list a domain name (my first) for sale on Sedo and Afternic. I've majored in English, but, sadly, Sedo and Afternic do not explain in plain English how to list a domain for sale. One must deal with their more-expensive bells and whistles first, which I'm not yet interested in pursuing.

Also, can any savvy domainer list some halfway decent sites to sell domains? Any mentoring would be much-appreciated.

There really aren't bells and whistles on Sedo. All you have to is add a txt file to your dns to confirm ownership which takes seconds. if you have Whois protection in place. I doubt there is any market that doesn't require basic verification of ownership. Easiest is sell it at registrar you bought at.
