Sedo Auction and Afternic Auction

Hello all,
I am planning to push my one-word domain:great: to sedo auction or afternic auction and apart from prices (39 for sedo and 19 for afternic) I am trying to find out which one is good to attract many prospective buyers. Apart from this I would also like to ask our domain elders..How to make sure that a bid is real in sedo or afternic ? becasue some people may bid and in the end not pay that amount..in such cases we'll be loosing the serious buyer who was active.
Last thing: Sedo's Appraisal Tool appraised my domain at 4999$, so what can I expect in real time auction ?

You cant just "push" a domain to auction at either place until you get an offer...once you get an offer you choose to take the offer as a BIN or push the domain to auction.

That's what ..In sedo if I pay 39$ then my domain get listed at home page and then I shall deceide the price...I understand you..So are the bids real ?
